The ECDL Advanced qualification is designed to progress the computer skills benchmark from the internationally successful European Computer Driving License® (ECDL) to the next level of competence.
How ECDL Advanced Works
It is based on the ECDL task-based model, and tests an individual’s competence at a much higher level with particular applications. It is modular and a certificate is awarded for successfully passing a test for each module. Currently in the UK, ECDL Advanced is split into 4 modules:
1. Word Processing
2. Spreadsheets
3. Database
4. Presentation
