Apprenticeships are available for young people aged between 16 and 24 that want to gain qualifications, whilst working in a real job. A level 2 Apprenticeship will take approximately 12-15 months to complete and a level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship from 12-24 months.
An Apprenticeship is made up of several parts:-
• A Work Placement • A Vocational Diploma • The Key Skills qualification • A Technical Certificate (not applicable to all Apprenticeships) • Training and Development Workshops
ITEC offer Apprenticeships in the following areas:
• Information Technology Practitioner • Information Technology User (Office Applications) • Business Administration • Customer Service (Office-based)
There are 2 routes into an Apprenticeship:
• Route 1 non-employed (Programme-led) • Route 2 employed |
