The Key Skills qualification covers 3 areas:
1. Application of Number
2. Communication
3. Information Technology
Some or all of the Key Skills will need to be undertaken depending upon the requirements of your particular Apprenticeship programme.
The Key Skills are built in to your e-portfolio and require you to demonstrate your understanding in each area.
You will need to sit an external online exam for each key skill area. This is taken at either Level 1 or Level 2 to fit in with your qualification.
You may be exempt from some Key Skills examinations depending on your GCSE grades.
